frequently asked questions
How do I download a wallpaper?
Click the wallpaper title or thumbnail to open its detail page. From there, click one of the resolution buttons (e.g. 1920×1080, 2560×1440, 3840×2160) to download. The file will be delivered from our CDN with the correct filename.
Can I upload my own wallpapers?
Yes! Visit the upload page to submit your wallpapers. Uploads are stored on Cloudinary and listed in the community gallery. By uploading, you agree to license your work under CC BY-NC 4.0.
What resolutions are available?
Curated wallpapers offer up to four resolutions: the original upload, 2560×1440 (QHD), 1920×1080 (Full HD), and 1280×720 (HD). Community uploads are available at their original resolution and a 1920×1080 downscale.
Can I use these wallpapers for commercial projects?
Curated wallpapers are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Community uploads are CC BY-NC 4.0 — non-commercial with attribution required. See the license page for full details.
How do I attribute a wallpaper?
If you use a community wallpaper, credit the artist by name and link back to wllpppr. For curated wallpapers, no attribution is needed for personal use — just don't redistribute them commercially.
I found my artwork here and want it removed.
We respect creators' rights. If your work appears on wllpppr without permission, contact us with a link to the wallpaper and we'll remove it promptly. See our takedown policy.
How do I save favorites?
Click the ★ button on any wallpaper's detail page. Favorites are saved to our database (via Supabase) and displayed on the favorites page. They follow you across devices as long as you use the same browser.
How do upvotes and downvotes work?
Click the ▲ or ▼ arrows on any wallpaper detail page to upvote or downvote. Your vote is saved in the database and updates in real-time. You can change your vote at any time — clicking the same arrow again toggles it off.
Can I comment on wallpapers?
Yes! Scroll to the bottom of any wallpaper detail page and use the comment box. Comments are stored in the database and visible to everyone.
Does this site use cookies?
No cookies. We use a localStorage session ID to track your votes, favorites, and comments via Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL database). No personal data is collected or sold.
