License & Usage

wllpppr features two categories of wallpapers: curated (selected by the site curator) and community (uploaded by users). Each category has its own licensing terms.

Curated Wallpapers

Curated wallpapers are sourced from individual creators and are free for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise noted by the creator. This includes desktop backgrounds, lock screens, phone wallpapers, and personal device theming.

Redistribution, resale, or use in commercial products requires explicit permission from the original creator. Each curated wallpaper links to its designer's profile for attribution.

Community Uploads

Wallpapers uploaded by the community are licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial). You are free to download, share, and use them for personal purposes as long as you credit the uploader.

By uploading to wllpppr, you grant the site a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, resize, and distribute your work through the platform. You retain full copyright and may remove your work at any time by requesting a takedown.

Attribution

Curated wallpapers: Credit the designer by name with a link to their profile page whenever sharing their work outside the site. Each wallpaper page links to the designer.

Community uploads: Credit "anonymous" or the uploader's stated name when sharing. A link back to the wallpaper page on wllpppr is appreciated.

wllpppr always links back to the original creator — we encourage you to do the same when sharing wallpapers elsewhere.

Downloads

Download links for curated wallpapers serve high-resolution images hosted on Cloudinary. Community uploads are also hosted on Cloudinary and served with automatic format and quality optimization. Download counts are estimates for popularity ranking.

Copyright & Takedowns

If you are a creator whose curated work is featured here and you wish to have it removed, please get in touch. Include the wallpaper URL and proof of original authorship.

If you uploaded a community wallpaper and wish to remove it, use the same contact method. Takedown requests are processed within 48 hours.

wllpppr respects creator rights and will honor takedown requests promptly. This is a passion project, not a commercial operation.

Site Usage

wllpppr does not use cookies, trackers, or analytics. We do not collect personal data. Favorites are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to any server.

The site is provided as-is. No guarantees are made regarding uptime, availability, or the continued presence of any specific wallpaper.
